Good for the mind

The end of last week I was stressed for some reason. Well, maybe more just frustrated, and without patience than stressed. I didn't even know why. Maybe the kids were being crazy? They're always crazy. Usually it doesn't get to me. Had a good week of shooting, and had some great shoots coming up on the weekend. It bugged me that I couldn't put my figure on the reason I was feeling so off.

When I'm feeling this way, regardless of the reason, there's a sure fire way to ease the funk. Getting out, away from any hustle and bustle, and just being alone in a quite place. For me, this usually happens on a bicycle. My bike takes me to great places. They don't even have to be far. Just away, quite, and alone. So I can think, and re-align. When hanging out with a sunset like this, how could you be frustrated? Good medicine for sure.
A simple bike helps. No gears = no worry.

Thank you Karate Monkey.

See, I wouldn't mind riding a single speed if St. Johns was that flat! I like the new title pic :)

You seem to really like that bike. If I had a real mountain bike, that would be the one.

Flat is certainly needed for a SS MTB.

P, yeah, this bike just goes to come great places without thought, or worry. Bad gravel roads are smoothed with those 29 X 2.3s

I have a black Karate Monkey frame on the way! It may take a while to build it up due to available $$$, but having the frame around will motivate me to get on it.

I also have some Titec "Jones" bars on the way for test and review. The J-Bar and the H-Bar. Funky looking bars for sure, but the J-Bar may end up finding a permanent home on the new monkey...

Sweet Jeff! That's fantastic. I figured you'd have a Monkey before too long.

I'm interested to see what it looks like with the J-bar.

Cheers!
