Volae Commute

So I'm in a pickle. I put the Volae up for sale and today rode it to work. The pickle comes in when I found the ride was nice and quick, relaxing and I made decent time and found myself really enjoying the bike. I had a post a while back about my lack of enthusiasm for the recument, but I thought I should give it a bit more of a chance. I want to get back to where I was last summer, and I think I might be on the way. The scary part is now I've got a guy who wants to come out and look at it. Geeze, that's just one step away from not having it anymore. Scars me. Maybe I just need to built up the bent legs. If I do sell it, I'll more than likely buy a LHT with the money. Any imput?

I know what you mean. I put my C'dale up on Craigslist and was shocked at the response. So, I pulled it, redid the bars and now going to ride it a little more to see if I really want to sell it.

You can't go wrong with the Volae or a LHT. So at worst you'll still end up on a great bike. For your commute I'd think the Volae was an ideal bike, but ultimately you have to go with your heart and that doesn't need to make sense.

Thanks guys. Mark, I think I'm going to pull it off of the listings I have for it!

Vik, you're right. This bike would be ideal for my commute. Good news, the guy came our and test road it, and while he was riding it away from my office, I almost started crying! not quite but I was definately relieved when he said he needed to think about it!
